Any Colour

Turned from spalted cherry and measuring 6 inches in diameter, Any Colour is a small piece that holds a surprising amount of variation. The spalting moves across the surface in soft lines and tonal shifts, creating natural contrast that feels almost drawn rather than grown.

Cherry brings a quiet warmth to the form, while the spalting introduces moments of unpredictability. No two areas resolve the same way. Some feel light and open, others more defined, giving the bowl a sense of depth despite its scale.

It sits easily in the hand and in a space, functioning as both object and surface. Like the name suggests, the interest is in the range, in the way the material carries multiple tones at once without needing to resolve into just one.
