Antanda Table

Antanda — in Dutch, to ignite. The Antanda Table is what created tänd. This table was born from fire; with the top being a salvaged slab of redwood from the 1977 Marble Cone Fire, located in Big Sur, California. The slab underwent a series of back door deals, until it ended up in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2024. Finished with a crystal clear epoxy, the slab underwent a serious overhaul, lasting almost 18 months. Upon receipt of the slab, quite a bit of work was done to preserve the wood, while rectifying the scarring from the fire. Sanded and polished to a satin glow, this table was sold to a California buyer. Reach out for inquiries for custom commissions.
