Turned from cherry and measuring 14 inches in diameter, The Cymbal carries a quiet sense of rhythm in its form. The broad, open profile allows the grain to move freely across the surface, catching light in a way that shifts as you move around it.

Cherry brings a natural warmth that will deepen over time, gradually enriching in tone with use and exposure. Subtle variations in the grain give the piece a sense of motion, like a soft vibration held in place. The form is completed with the sacred geoemtry of an ogee curve at the base. 

The Cymbal is both grounded and responsive. A simple form that feels alive in its surface, changing with light, time, and use. Finished with a food safe Danish oil.
