Eos is a 10 inch ash light from the Icarus series, turned impossibly thin to allow the wood itself to carry light. After shaping, the piece was soaked in Danish oil for two weeks, allowing the oil to fully penetrate the fibers and bring out a remarkable translucency throughout the form. When illuminated, the ash glows from within, revealing subtle grain patterns and warmth that would otherwise remain hidden.

Named after the Greek goddess of dawn, Eos feels soft and atmospheric, like the first light breaking through darkness in the early morning. The surface was carefully finished to a gentle glow that keeps the piece feeling natural and alive in the hand, even before the light is turned on. Every part of the lamp is meant to celebrate the fragility, warmth, and quiet beauty of wood pushed to its limits.
