Pomona is a 7″ pendant turned from an apple tree that was cut down here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Rather than letting the wood go to waste, the tree was given a second life as a piece of light, preserving a small piece of the landscape it grew in. The applewood has a warm, subtle grain that becomes more pronounced as light passes through the thin walls of the form. Each pendant is turned, sanded, and finished by hand, allowing the natural character of the wood to remain at the center of the piece. Named after Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit trees and orchards, the piece is a quiet connection between the tree it came from and the light it has become.

The lead time on any order can be 3-5 weeks. Every lamp fixture comes with an Edison style bulb.
