Pecan Natural Edge Bowl

This 18.5" x 6.5" natural-edge Pecan bowl features a delicate bark rim and dramatic crotch figure. Turned to its finished thickness while the timber was still green, the bowl was allowed to dry naturally and move freely. During this process, the Pecan warped dramatically, creating an irregular form that could never be replicated. The original bark remains intact along the rim, preserving a direct connection to the tree it came from. Finished with multiple coats of Danish wiping oil, the surface reveals the warmth, depth, and figure of Pecan.
