Recollection is a 10 inch bowl turned from California sourced black walnut, chosen for its deep color and natural movement in the grain. The piece was carefully shaped, sanded, and polished by hand until the surface carried a soft glow that shifts in the light.

Finished with a food safe Danish oil, the walnut takes on a warmth that feels both grounded and timeless. Recollection is meant to feel familiar in the way certain objects quietly hold memory, becoming richer through use and age.
