Rich Spirit

Rich Spirit is an 11 inch bowl turned from cherry wood sourced from the Salt Lake Valley, carrying the warmth and character that only locally harvested wood can hold. Natural fractures in the piece were carefully repaired using kintsugi inspired brass inlay, allowing the imperfections to become part of the story rather than something hidden away.

After being polished to a soft glow and finished with a food safe Danish oil, the cherry deepened into a rich, warm tone that contrasts beautifully against the brass. The piece feels grounded and honest, celebrating both the strength of the material and the beauty found in repair.
