Small Manzanita Hollow Form

This approximately 3" x 2.5" hollow form is turned from Manzanita root, an exceptionally dense and beautifully gnarled natural hardwood. Rich dark, reddish-brown tones move throughout the piece, giving the small vessel a surprising amount of depth and character. The dense root wood takes an exceptionally refined surface, highlighting subtle grain patterns and natural variations within the material. Some natural cracks and voids are filled with polished brass.
