Splash

Splash is a 10 inch bowl turned from Oregon black walnut, shaped to highlight the movement and character already living in the wood. The grain shifts across the surface like water in motion, catching light differently from every angle. After hours of sanding and polishing, the piece was finished with a food safe Danish oil that brings out a deep, natural glow and warmth you can feel the moment you pick it up.
