The Piton

The Piton is a heavy-duty bottle opener designed for the social side of the Subalpine life. Each handle is hand-turned in our Salt Lake City based studio from domestically harvested wood, shaped to fit the palm with the same ergonomic confidence as a piece of specialized climbing gear. The rich, dark grain of the wood is contrasted by a raw, brushed-steel opener head, creating a tool that is as much a conversation piece as it is a functional necessity.
