The Student Spatula

The Student is a handmade spatula carved from figured walnut by my apprentice, Connor. The piece was made as part of his time in the Tänd shop, where learning happens through working with the material and building things by hand. The figured walnut gives each spatula its own character, with the grain shifting across the surface as it moves through the light. Simple in form and made for everyday use, The Student reflects the patience and repetition that come with learning a craft. Each one is finished by hand and carries a little piece of Connor’s growth as a maker. 

The lead time on any order can be 3-5 weeks.
