Through is an 11″ sculptural shade turned from elm burl, a piece of wood shaped by years of irregular growth. Its many natural voids remain open throughout the form, allowing light to pass through the wood in small, unexpected openings. When illuminated, the burl casts a soft pattern of light and shadow that changes as you move around it. The shape is kept minimal, letting the natural character of the wood do most of the work. Each void, grain line, and variation is part of the piece, making Through a study in the relationship between solid wood, empty space, and light.

The lead time on any order can be 3-5 weeks. Every lamp fixture comes with an Edison style bulb.
