Twin Flames is a pair of bedside tables turned from the same Oregon sourced black walnut tree, carrying a shared character that makes them feel deeply connected while still completely unique to one another. The walnut is heavily figured with strong chatoyancy throughout, causing the grain to shift and move in the light almost like fire beneath the surface. Natural fissures in the wood were carefully filled with black epoxy, preserving the original character of the slabs while adding depth and contrast to the final pieces.

Each table was carefully sanded through 800 grit and finished with Danish oil to bring out the warmth, depth, and natural glow of the wood without losing its organic feel. Together, the pair feels balanced and grounded, made to sit beside one another in the same way the tree once grew from a single source. Twin Flames is about connection, reflection, and the quiet beauty found in things that belong together.
